Sports

There are plenty of fun sports for you and your family to get involved with at Le Pas Opton. Stay active on site by joining in sports including football, basketball, volleyball, rounders and table tennis.

Walking

Take in the stunning scenery of the Vendée by following one of the many walking routes surrounding Le Pas Opton. Taking an early evening stroll is the best way to discover the peace and serenity of your surroundings.

 

Family fun!

Afternoons at Le Pas Opton offer a fun family activity for you to enjoy. Treasure hunts, walk-around quizzes, teddy bears' picnics and challenges add some extra competition and excitement to your holiday.

 

Golf

Jim Long, PGA Golf Professional, writes: "Four superb golf courses are within easy reach of Le Pas Opton - the excellent local course of Les Fontenelles is just 10 minutes away." Play is available every day and the reception staff can help to put you in touch with other golfers on site. And don’t worry if you’ve not got room in your car for your clubs - we have good quality clubs available to hire from reception.

 

Cycling

The Vendée region is very flat – and therefore cycle friendly, with a growing network of cycle paths. A free booklet about Vendée  cycle rides is available from Reception. Bikes are available for hire on site, making it easy to get around without your car. Hire by the day or week, with a range of models available including kids, adults, mountain bikes and children’s trailers.

 

Fishing

The beautiful river Vie runs along the bottom of the holiday park and is a perfect location for a bit of fishing. You will need to purchase a fishing licence from reception.
