Our French Houseparty, hosted at Le Pas Opton, is an inspirational holiday for singles and couples of any age (no kids allowed!)

If you’re interested in socialising with others, whilst enjoying the relaxation provided by our four-star facilities and the sunshine of Western France then the French Houseparty is for you – travel, accommodation and activities have been planned with you in mind. Expand your spiritual and social horizons, as we give you the opportunity to meet likeminded Christians in a fun and exciting environment.

We take the hassle out of your holiday with optional planned excursions and activities, allowing you to focus solely on enjoying yourself. Running alongside the activities is an engaging spiritual programme of morning bible discussions and evening worship that you can dip in and out of as you please. The holiday is perfect for anyone travelling alone, as a couple or in groups, as long as you’re ready to meet and mingle when you arrive!

And don’t worry, you can put your French phrase book away – it’s an all English holiday!

Spiritual programme

We’re delighted that Chick and Margaret Yuill have agreed to lead the morning and evening sessions of our spiritual programme. Chick is a well-known Spring Harvest speaker, whilst Margaret is an artist. The theme for the week is entitled "What are you worth?". Find out more about Chick and Margaret at www.anvilding.com

They will be joined by Stuart Barbour who will be leading worship for the week. Stuart is signed to Elevation Records, and has a new album for 2010 entitled "Get Up On Your Feet". Originally from Scotland, Stuart now lives near Brighton where he is the worship leader at The Point.  The Point is a fresh expressions Church of England plant that was started by songwriter Matt Redman. 

Travel: Made easy

We want you to get the most out of the French Houseparty experience – so we’ve provided lots of travel options for you. Just choose from the following:

By plane: Cheap flights can be found from UK airports to airports close to Le Pas Opton. For a small additional charge we’ll also pick you up from the following airports on the 6th September: Rennes and Nantes (subject to availability)

By train: The Eurostar service will take you from London to Lille or Paris where regular trains will carry you on to Challans.

By ferry: Take a scenic drive through France via a channel crossing. Our lovely customer service team will even book your ferry for you, how kind of them!

By coach: Eliminate all the hassle of travelling and take our luxury coach. Put your feet up and let someone else do all the driving!

For individuals

Prices are per person per week. We'll try to arrange for you to share accommodation with friends but can't guarantee allocation. Shared accommodation is separated by gender.

For travel in our luxury coach and ferry crossing add £135

For couples and groups

(Accommodation and a ferry crossing for one car)

Deposit payable on booking;
