Eurotunnel
If you can’t face a ferry crossing or you’re looking for the shortest crossing, Eurotunnel is the fastest way to cross the Channel at just 35 minutes. There are up to three crossings per hour and checking in and boarding is easy.

Eurotunnel crossing
Check-in is no later than 30 minutes before departure but no earlier than 2 hours before, using your booking reference and the credit/debit card you used to make your booking (and, of course, your passport!)
There are a number of cafés and shops at both ends of the Eurotunnel terminal and you can even check your emails before boarding as the terminal buildings now have free Wifi.
