Why offer a family holiday week for home educators?

The reason behind this week is simple. We would like to honour all you do in nurturing and educating your families by serving you and blessing you. This is simply a chance for like-minded families to relax, get refreshed and have some well-deserved quality family time. We want you to be fully refreshed... whatever that looks like to you!

Will there be others on site?

The site is open to other people booking independently; they will not receive the discount. As this week is out of the English school holidays, it has been popular in previous years for home educators. Scottish and Irish holidays will have started, so there will be other families and children on site.

Is there a denominational bias?

Heroes is a non-denominational holiday. We trust that our love for God and respect for each other will allow us to have fellowship and enjoy each other’s company.

Am I expected to do anything?

No! All activities are entirely optional. If you want to spend the day exploring the nearby French villages, fishing in the river, whooping it up in the pool or having day long BBQs... go for it! Choose the activities which make your holiday an even richer experience.

Are there any other costs involved?

The price includes accommodation and Dover-Calais channel crossing. See our booking page for further options and details. Most on-site activities are free, the pool is free and children’s activities are free. The gloriously sandy beach is close by. There is a take-away, bar, restaurant, and shop on site. Hypermarkets are just a few minutes drive away.

Is there facility for large families/ groups?

How well equipped are you for toddlers/babies?

The site is particularly well equipped for little ones: there is a toddler pool area and small sandy parks throughout the site. It is tree-lined with plenty of shade and space for little ones to roam. All facilities are clean, safe and secure.

How well equipped are you for older children/teenagers?

Multisport facilities, fishing, fantastic swimming pool, bike hire, beautiful nature, kids play areas, peaceful riverside setting, late night chill zone, space to explore and be still... need we say more?

How do we claim 10% off brochure price?
