Our team in France

Director: Tim Baynes Clarke

Tim started at LPO in January and has been working with our on-site team to ensure that the holiday park is in top shape ready for the start of the season in May. Tim is married to Monique who is French. He brings a rich breadth of experience in cross-cultural mission, church leadership and business. Most recently, Tim and Monique have been setting up the French operation for Freedom in Christ Ministries.

Programme: Bob Goody

We're delighted to advise you that Bob will be joining us again for the 2012 season.  Bob is the creative mastermind behind the programme at Le Pas Opton. He works with our team of couriers to create and deliver the exceptional daily children's and youth clubs that happen onsite. Bob also ensures that the afternoon activities all run smoothly and that the evening entertainments are enjoyed by all. 

Head Chef: Yannick Devineau 

Yannick looks after the team who take care of the restaurant, shop, bakery and bar. He is also the head chef and works tirelessly to bring our guests the finest in local French cuisine. His wife, Sylvie, works alongside him in the restaurant. Be sure to say hello when you see Yannick!

Accommodation: Alison Taylor

Alison's team has won many compliments in 2011. We're hoping for many more in 2012. Alison works with the accommodation team, who are committed to ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. They work all through the week, but their busiest time is on a Monday, changeover day, when they meticulously prepare every unit of accommodation for our guests arrival.

Our team in the UK

CEO: Steven May-Miller

Steven May-Miller has been at the helm of Spring Harvest Holidays since May 2005, having previously worked for Spring Harvest as Deputy Chief Executive. He speaks French and loves the opportunity to put his language skills into action. Steven is based in the UK at Spring Harvest's head office but is a regular visitor to LPO through the year. The UK office handles customer service, finance and marketing. Dan Preston works on UK operations and marketing, and is also based at head office.

The Board of Directors

Director: Ian Scott

Ian worked for Spring Harvest in the UK before moving to France with his wife Gill. He has been involved with the Spring Harvest Holidays project from the earliest days and lived on site during the early months of change and upheaval. He and Gill still live a couple of hours from e Pas Opton and are regular visitors.

Director: Alan Johnson

Alan recently retired from his role as Chief Executive of the Memralife Group which encompasses the Spring Harvest event and Spring Harvest Holidays. He is the man who had the original vision for a Christian holiday park in France and he worked tirelessly to locate, purchase and rebuild the site and saw the project through its first two seasons before handing over to Steven May-Miller. Alan remains actively involved as a Director.

Director: David Dorricott

Married to Alison, David is Managing Director of a software company based on the Isle of Man. He brings his business skills and deep Christian commitment to the work of the Board of Directors. David and Alison spend much of their time on Friends and Heroes, a major project to produce a world class animated Bible story series.

Director: Peter Martin

Peter is the Group Chief Executive of Memralife Group which encompasses the Spring Harvest event and other activities of Spring Harvest and ICC. His background is in sales and retailing and has spent many years developing ICC’s business across a range of services including recording studios, media duplication, record labels and copyright services.

Director: Mark Morris

Mark has been a director of Spring Harvest Holidays since June 2009. He and his family live in Western Ireland, where Mark runs a civil engineering company. Mark is married to Yvonne and they have four children. They all love to holiday at Le Pas Opton and know the place well as their first visit was back in 2006. Mark has particular input to finance and marketing to Ireland.
