- Swimming Pool
Make a splash in our heated swimming pool! There’s a shallow toddler pool, flume and aquasplash area. If you’d prefer to stay dry, you can enjoy the sunshine and a good book on a poolside sun lounger.

Le Pas Opton has its very own restaurant serving authentic French cuisine and traditional English favourites. Our head chef Yannick has put together a delicious menu, including a selection of local wines.

You can buy your holiday essentials at our onsite shop, and there are supermarkets only a short distance from Le Pas Opton. Our bakery serves fresh baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat and more!
- Bar Terrace
Our fully stocked bar is great for coffees in the morning, ice creams in the afternoon and entertainments in the evening. The bar terrace is perfect for enjoying a warm evening with friends and family.
- Laundrette
Although washing isn’t the first thing you think about on holiday, it’s good to know that you can clean the football kit and sandy towels! Our Laundrette is equipped with washers and driers.
- Amenity Blocks
If you’re staying in a tent, caravan or tourer you’ll benefit from our amenity blocks, with toilets, showers and basins. The facilities are checked and cleaned on a regular basis, ensuring the highest standard of comfort and hygiene.
- Field
The field is a great place for sport; there’s often a spontaneous game of football or rounders going on. You can also enjoy a family picnic or an evening stroll.
- Riverside
One of the most beautiful places at Le Pas Opton, the banks of the River Vie are surrounded by nature and wildlife. The peaceful atmosphere is inspiring and when the sun sets the view is spectacular.
- Sports & Games
For those sporty families and tireless kids there are plenty of activities to get stuck into. Our multi-sports facility includes 5-aside football, basketball, boules, volleyball and a children’s play area.
- Marquee
The optional spiritual programme at Le Pas Opton is there for you to dip in and out of as you please. The morning Bible studies and evening worship sessions are led by popular Spring Harvest personalities.
- St Gilles
Le Pas Opton is situated only a five minute drive from the beautiful marina town of St Giles. There you can discover beaches, markets, shops, restaurants, a carousel and more!
- Day Trips
There’s plenty to do in the Vendée, including amusement parks, family attractions, water parks and adventure playgrounds. You’ll have trouble fitting them all into your holiday!
