Before the start of every season, we hold two prayer days for Le Pas Opton: one in France, and one in the UK, to cover all that we do in prayer. We invite our Ambassadors* to these, and they are brilliant times of fellowship.
Needless to say, we had to cancel those events this year, but we do now have a great opportunity to bring more people together online than would otherwise be able to gather in person.
So, two months ahead of what we hope will be the rescheduled start of the season, we’d like to invite you all to an online prayer day for LPO! It will be Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May. We’ll be posting some short videos through the day, featuring various members of team setting out the areas that we need to pray into.
We’d love you to engage with us by posting your prayers for LPO in the comments on Facebook. If you’re not on Facebook, you can view a compilation of the videos on the website from 10am, and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your prayers.
At 5pm, we’ll have the chance to gather together for half an hour of interactive live prayer and worship via Zoom. This will be led by Steve May-Miller (our CEO) and featuring (provisionally) Sue Rinaldi, Dave Bentley (Park Directeur, live from LPO) and Forest Paget our Programme Manager.
The Zoom meeting ID is: 864 3368 4200
The meeting password is: #LPO2020
You can also access the meeting using this link:
It would be great if you could take a few minutes to pray for us at any point in the day, whether you’re thinking of coming to LPO this year or not. The virus may be causing disruption around the world, but it’s also causing people to come together in new and exciting ways.
Looking forward to praying with you!
