15 – 22 June (not happening in 2020)
The LPO season will now be starting on the 29th June, so sadly the Creative week will not be happening this year. The following info shows what we had planned, so watch this space for 2021…
Saltmine Theatre Company will be leading a fun and exciting programme of drama at Le Pas Opton. Saltmine’s skilled team will be sharing performance and drama techniques in their relaxed workshops throughout the week. Whether you know you want to be an actor when you’re older or you are just interested in what Saltmine do, then come along in the afternoon for some light-hearted fun. Join the evening celebrations with the team bringing the Bible to life in a way that only they can: with drama and interactive activities for all. Finish off your break with a night to remember, as Saltmine take to the stage to do what they do best.
Talented artist Lynne Pugh will join us for a week of free watercolour workshops to further encourage your artistic endeavours. Sit on the terrace in the sun and learn a new skill as Lynne guides you through the basics of watercolour. The workshops are for all abilities, whether you are a skilled watercolourist or just curious to try it out.
If you need time and space to finish a writing project – or even to start one – then this holiday week is for you. Feel free to lock yourself away or mingle with other creatives. We’ll have a professional editor/writer available all week to talk, advise and discuss your work.
Bring along your camera or phone and learn what makes a fantastic photo and how to capture the shot possible with our professional photographer.
