10 – 17 June
During our Healthy Holiday week you’ll have the chance to enrich your holiday with help from the FitFish team.
The Fitfish team has run a summer retreat at Le Pas Opton for the past four years. They believe that to serve God to our full ability and to reach our full potential in him we need to be balanced and equipped physically, spiritually and mentally. Whether that means overcoming a fear of exercising, a rest from daily pressures or thinking about eating more healthily, Fitfish can offer you support and encouragement.
They will be offering extra activities in their specialist areas of physical, spiritual and emotional health
- Workouts for all abilities such as beginners running, resistance bands, fun circuits, boxing, stretching and core
- Healthy extras such as Life Coaching, GP slots, Listening Prayer and Fitness Assessments and advice
- Quick Tip Sessions on Physical, Spiritual and Emotional Health
- A shared healthy meal
The programme is not yet finalized. Please let us know if you are interested in a particular activity.

Meet the Fitfish team
The team is comprised of Claire, Sharon and Sam.
Claire is a portfolio GP working part time in the NHS and part time for various charitable organisations. She has been involved with Fitfish since 2012 and is passionate about allowing faith to impact our physical and mental health so we can be fit for all Christ has called us to do. Claire is also part of Fitfish’s ministry team and loves to pray with and encourage others on their journey. She enjoys skiing and playing tennis.
Sharon works full time in further education, and is fortunate to be in job which she loves where no two days are the same. However, one of her great passions outside of work is volunteering as a member of the Fitfish team. Having trained as a Life Coach, she has been involved since 2012, providing one to one coaching sessions, delivering workshops and being part of the ministry team. She loves spending time with people, helping them to be intentional in thinking about their emotional, physical and spiritual health – and in doing so, becoming more of the person God created them to be.
Sam is a keen martial artist and competes in the UK and worldwide. Combining his knowledge of Martial Arts, and his 5 years experience as a football coach, he has been able to help many people get back into fitness, or start their own journey through a variety of sports coaching and private sessions which he bases around his specialty of circuit training.
“There is nothing I love more, than to see the guests after a Fitfish experience, going away with either renewed or a new found confidence to achieve their fitness goals but also knowing they have had time to work on their emotional and spiritual health at the same time”
