An update on your 2020 LPO holiday
We are really looking forward to providing great holidays at LPO this summer – but only if it’s safe and legal to do so of course! Although there are promising signs in France, there’s still an international travel ban and the prospect of 14 day quarantines when you visit and return from France! So nothing can be confirmed yet.
We are still planning to open the park from 20th July, providing that travel, quarantine and public health advice supports our decision. Our intention is to deliver programme including groups for children and teens, Bible study and worship. However it is clear that this year’s holidays will need to be different to comply with whatever distancing and hygiene rules are in place at the time.
The next major announcements from the French Government are expected around 18th June, so we will update you again during the week commencing 22nd June. Providing we are able to go ahead on 20th July, we will introduce various measures for your peace of mind, including a guarantee of refund if you are forced to cancel for virus-related reasons and a healthy park plan.
What does this mean for your booking?
Guests booked for holidays starting up to 19th July will be given the opportunity to re-book into the period from 20th July onward or to move their booking to 2021. We hope be in touch with some special offers for you later this month.
Guests booked from 20th July to the end of the season can relax. Nothing has changed and we will keep providing updates about the status of your holiday. We won’t collect balance payments without contacting you first.
Meanwhile thank you for praying for us! Our recent prayer day involved over 2,000 people at various times and included a Zoom-busting prayer meeting with over 100 people joining in! We appreciate your ongoing prayers as Dave and team prepare the park and as we monitor the ever-changing policies and measures being announced by governments.
